Boning knives have long, thin, flexible blades with a sharp tip to make piercing meat easier and safer. The blade is designed to cut through ligaments and connective tissue to remove raw meat from the bone. Boning knives have to be extremely sharp, and the tougher the blade, the longer it will maintain its sharpness.
- Full Tang runs the full length of the handle and is secured by three strong rivets, offering exceptional durability and balance.
- The handle is crafted from natural Pakkawood material from Spain with the unique grained finish.
- The blade is crafted from 66 layes of stainless steel, folded around a central core of VG/10 steel. Vg-10 is the name of the steel made by Takefu Special Steel Corporation located in Fukui Japan. It is one of the best quality japanese stainless steel for kitchen knife today.
- The deluxe stainless steel bolster gives balance and protect the fingers from the cutting edge.
- The blade cutting edge is finished by hand to protect a razor sharp finish.
